Jeanette Martin – Piano, Voice, Flute, Speech Arts, Choir, Musical Theatre
Jeanette Martin is a Certified Teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Music at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels in Piano, Voice, Speech Arts, Flute, and Musical Theory. She has over 35 years experience teaching young people to excel in the performing arts.
Jeanette has prepared hundreds of students for exams at the Royal Conservatory of Music, and several of her students have been awarded the prestigious RCM Gold Medal – their highest award. Hundreds of her students have successfully competed in music festivals all over Ontario and the U.S. Jeanette also prepares students for auditions and several of her students have been hired for professional work or accepted into performing arts programs in Colleges and Universities.
Jeanette has a tender spot for choral music and she has led both large and small choirs for 30 years, in churches, schools, and many other contexts. As well, she is an accomplished piano accompanist and flute player.
Jeanette has Directed or Produced over 100 musical theatre productions
Jeanette is a graduate of Queen's University and is married and has eight children and two grandchildren.
