About Us - Hope Marques - Musical Theatre, Dance, Piano, Voice, Violin

Miss Hope is everywhere -- she practically lives at the Studio! She is a TRUE Triple-Threat! Currently working on 3 IRCT diplomas with the Royal Conservatory of Music for Voice, Piano and Speech Arts.
She has completed her Advanced Piano, Voice, Speech Arts, Violin, Music Theory, and Music History with the Royal Conservatory of Music. After graduating, Hope studied at Randolph College for the Performing Arts. Hope has also completed all the written components of Speech Arts including 'Speech Arts Technique and Theory' and 'The History and the Study of Literature and Plays'.

Performing since age 3, Hope has been in over 100 Stage Productions. Major roles include: Frauline Schneider in "Cabaret" at St. Andrews College 2017. Widow Corney in "OLIVER", the Narrator in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat", and Amnarys in "Aida". She was dance captain in Mary Poppins. She has performed on many international stages, including Carnegie Hall, NYC. She was also a guest actress at Saint Andrews College for their productions of 'Guys and Dolls' 2018 and 'Cabaret' 2017

Hope has a passion for dance and has completed her advanced ballet with the Royal Academy of Dance. Hope has her Intermediate Tap, Intermediate modern theatre with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and Intermediate Modern Theatre with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. She has her Intermediate Jazz with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. Her love of her craft and continued education, Miss Hope is also a Certified Acrobatic Arts instructor.

Miss Hope is the Director of our Musical Theatre, Triple Threat team and Dance Programs. She is multi-talented and teaches Ballet, Acro, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Tap. Director of our Junior and Senior Musical Theatre Productions, Adult Theatre and Adult Dance. She provide private instruction in Piano, Voice, Music Theory, Speech Arts & Violin. Her Triple Threat is her heart and she brings her heart and sweat every week. MIMA attends Access Broadway every year in the USA. Her team has successfully won for last two years the BEST PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOL!

She has been performing competitively for 15 years at many international competitions. For 4 consecutive years, she was one of twenty people selected from across Ontario to compete in Musical Theatre at the Ontario Music Festival Association's Provincial competition. Also winning 'MISS ACCESS BROADWAY' for her triple threat performances at Access Broadway for her graduating year.

Hope is a Mother of two beautiful future performers. Her heart is felt by all that know her.
